Lessons and Instruction in
the art of fencing are available in both a group as well as privately. Many
can be arranged to conveniently fit into your schedule. Dirk is very

He has been involved
with fencing instruction for both beginning and advanced fencers in the
United States and overseas for nearly forty years, and most of his students
are able to complete in tournaments within a matter of just a few months.
Fencing is fun, it is an excellent way to get in shape, and it is not
expensive, so give it a try and contact Dirk right away.

Instruction involves
drills in footwork and proper grip and use of the foil, strategy, and
balance. Instruction can be in group format or in a private setting.
Practice competition is also regularly preformed to demonstrate proper
technique and the approach to competitive fencing. After just a few months
of lessons, most students are already able to compete in novice tournaments.
Proper equipment is always utilized for safety and comfort.
